Iowa Technology & Education Connection-Extra Credit

ITEC promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public, developments in educational technology and how its appropriate use supports teaching and learning.
i was very honored to attend this Tech fair.i should judge 2 project ,but 1 is not here. as a result ,i only judge one.it's a robot.team is three students from Grade5.This robot was trying to pick up a goal and put it into a box.it's a little difficult for the children of Grade5.but, in my point of view,they can do it better.first of their programme is just in line .so ,their robot is not automatic.Their programme can be improved and take all advantage of device.Second,their ball was not been picked up ,they should know how to regulate the programme immediately and make it work.That is a good way to judge whether this programme is made by their own.Robot is a good way to make the students more creative .i have attend our country's robot competition .I can made the robot by myself and can made of by macros. it's very complicated to know the knowledge and maybe level 6.
the robot can't apply to classroom in china ,but can courage children to attend the trainning project in china.

flat classroom project

The world is INDEED flat!.We have (and will) had the opportunity to work connect with people all over the world by using net gen project ning.

Electronic Portfolios


today ,i have review what i have learned in the class. i found i have missed some homework,beause i just come here,everything is difficult for me.but now i feel better now .so i want to redo it,just beacuse i love educational technology.
1 )i love the blog of her except the color.

Kidspired Frosty Tales it is very cute.in it have the students showcase.it shows that the teacher love the students very much.i think the teacher is very good ,she is proud of her students.there are lots of things from her students. such as.

in china, when we choose teacher. we ususlly depends on score of competition and her teaching proformence in the class. but i think we should add some thing else to choose the teacher .such as her/his protfolio. it can see a lot of things from it.

the first time to use blog talk about lincoln

using technolgoy in the class become earier for the teacher,and students are coming to class with more skills.




















I have learned a lot of technology in lincoln. There are a lot of difference from china. we don't use online textbook and 3d to support socience and math teaching.Besides,i have never seen children's atomic learning and use etherpad before.in china ,we usually use website to find some backgroud about literature .i think i learn a lot to go there .it's amazing.!!!
but i was wandering whether we can use these technology in china and how to use in the class in china .In china ,we have no such website and students just come to learn english in elementary school .so it's difficult for them to use this.but i believe in the near future we will have these technology.so here i will just talk about them and don't know when it is can be applied to my class.
etherpad----children can use to work togerther in a real-time.

gloster---- chilidren can use text /music/images/videos to express themself. stage4/5
online textbook and google sketchup---they use them to support math an scoence.i have learned 3D in the university ,but they pick them up in elementart school.it's really shock me~!!!stage 4/5 teacher does't tell them how to opereter ,but they watch the tutorial and help each other to learn it.teach work is a good way for them to solve the problem.but it's diffcult for chinese elementary student to learn ,beause they just start to learn english.

amplifier--we use differnt kind of amplifier,but i think it is very cute.


if the teacher ask students do a project used whaterver technology they like or use the technology to choose the project that they like ,this can go the higher stage.
